Twelfth Night tells the story of Viola, a young heroine who washes up on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man, is sent to court a Countess and falls hard for a Duke. As she navigates this strange and wonderful new land, she finds her true self and true love in the process. Featuring an original jazz-funk score by Shaina Taub, this contemporary 90-minute musical about mistaken identity and self-discovery is appropriate for all audiences. Full of pure joy, lots of laughs, and a deeper message of empathy and compassion, Twelfth Night is the family friendly musical you’ll want to fall in love with again and again.
The season-ending musical is directed by Scott B Randall, with music direction by Rose Yurcina, and choreography by Krista Patt. Each performance will be sign language-interpreted.
Twelfth Night will run for 3 weekends, May 24-June 9, with performances at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $25 for adults, and $20 for seniors/students/military. Buy tickets online, over the phone at (360) 322-7402, or at the box office Tuesday-Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m.
