Special Performance Class for Kids and Teens!

Come join the fun as part of the premier offering of RCF's Springboard! program. Students will be led through the process of auditioning and rehearsing a musical show (Wind in the Willows), working with professional instructors and culminating in performances open to the public. Students enrolled will receive two free tickets to the performance, as well as their own copy of the script and a commemorative T-shirt. Tuition $195.
Students interested in being part of Springboard! must audition on May 17, and are encouraged to take our Audition Preparation class first (see below). Rehearsals will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m., from May 23-June 22, with performances June 23 and 24.

Adult Acting Class: Scene Study
Instructor: Scott Randall
Sundays, 7-9 p.m. - April 23-May 28. Cost $150
While this class explores a variety of aspects of acting, the focus this session will be on the dynamics of working with partners to develop a scene. Specific skills will include character motivation, facial expression, body awareness, gesture, movement, script analysis, and performance. There will be some out of class work expected from students during this class, and memorization of some pieces will be encouraged. If you haven’t yet taken classes with RCF, you are encouraged to start with this class. Open to all students aged 16 and up.
